I have put together some July 2000 Florida bass fishing USCG licensed guide fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Florida bass guide fishing reports are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A guide fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida bass fishing guide report. Florida Bass Fishing July 27 & 28, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Brian Tiemann (St. Louis, MO - ph: 314-837-4487), Brent Durham (St. Charles, MO - ph: 636-946-7672) and Bob Tiemann (St. Charles, MO - ph: 636-441-1850) caught 32 Florida bass up to 4 3/4 lbs during 2 half days (Jul. 27 & 28, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron. We fished the Fisheating Creek area of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

Florida Bass Fishing July 25 & 26, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing dad Ken McAlister and 15 year-old son Andrew (Andover, KS - ph: 316-218-0340 - e-mail: mcalisterkg@veracom.net) caught 34 Florida bass that included a 6 1/2 lb., 5 1/2 lb. and 5 1/4 lb. bass during 2 half days (Jul. 25 & 26, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron. Andews dad caught the 6 1/2 lb. bass during the same time Andrew was fighting the 5 1/2 lb'er. Andrew also caught the 5 1/4 lb. bass. We fished the Harney Pond Canal cuts of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released. Andrew also caught a Cormorant which was hooked and released unharmed while it was diving and searching for a meal. The meal it found and ate was one of our wild shiner baited lines. This driving bird put up a good fight and had us believing we had a trophy bass on the line until it surfaced!

Florida Bass Fishing July 23 & 24, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Bob Sucher (Weston, FL - ph: 954-384-6619) and his son John from Colorado caught 17 Florida bass up to 3 lbs during 2 half days (Jul. 23 & 24, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron. We fished the Harney Pond Canal cuts of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

Florida Bass Fishing July 16-18, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing dad Don Wilson and 3 sons Jeff-19, Greg-17, Todd-15 from (Hagerstown, MD - ph: 301-582-2417) caught 28 Florida bass up to 5 lbs during a day and the half (Jul. 14 & 15, 2000) of wild shiner bass fishing with Cap'n Ron. Gregg caught the 5 lb. bass which he is having mounted. Greg's dad and younger brother Todd killed 2 wild boar hogs during a morning (July 15, 2000) of wild boar hunting while Greg and his older brother Jeff were out bass fishing. All the bass except the 5 lb'er were released. All bass were caught in the Fisheating Creek and Harney Pond areas of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing July 11, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing dad Al Marano and 13 year-old son Bill (Watertown, CT - ph: 860-274-4122 - e-mail: amarano342@aol.com) caught 7 bass up to 3 lbs during a half day (Jul. 11, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron. We fished the Fisheating Creek area of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

Florida Bass Fishing July 7 & 8, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing dad Steve Alford and 13 year-old son Brandon (Sarasota, FL - ph: 941-346-5422 - e-mail: alford@amauta.rcp.net.pe) caught 26 Florida bass up to 4 lbs during 2 half days (Jul. 7 & 8, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. This was their second Florida bass fishing trip together. On their first Florida bass fishing trip (Jan. 4 & 5, 2000) Brandon caught a 6 lb. trophy bass. They fished the Harney Pond Canal cuts of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

Florida Bass Fishing July 6, 2000 Guide Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Dave Vance (Indianapolis, IN - ph: 317-241-1447 - e-mail: VANCE_DAVID_R@Lilly.com), Ed Burkhead (Port St. Lucie, FL - ph: 561-878-8164) and Wayne Lannan (Orlando, FL - ph: 407-282-7321) caught 42 bass that included a 6 lb. and 7 lb. Florida bass during 1 day (Jul. 6, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Wayne caught the 7 lb. bass. Dave caught the 6 lb. bass. They fished the Harney Pond Canal cuts of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

Florida bass fishing anglers Tony Poggio (Lebanon, NJ - ph: 908-534-7736) and Mike Bury (Bradenton, FL - ph: 941-746-5140) caught 16 Florida bass up to 4 lbs during 2 half days (Jul. 5 & 6, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron. We fished the Fisheating Creek area of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

Florida bass fishing couple Joe and Debbie Schobel (Ft. Worth, TX - ph: 817-485-6351) caught 30 Florida bass that included a 7 lb. and two 6 lb'ers during 2 half days (Jul. 2 & 3, 2000) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Debbie caught and released the 7 lb. and one of the 6 lb'ers. They fished the Harney Pond Canal cuts of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.
