March 2004

I have put together some March 2004 Florida bass fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Florida bass fishing reports are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida bass fishing report. To ensure validity the angler's name, address, phone number and e-mail address is also listed with every fishing report.

Florida Bass Fishing - March 30 & 31, 2004 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Jim Cole (League City, TX - e-mail: Jim.Cole@p2sworld.com) and Irvin Cole (Largo, FL) caught and released about 20 bass up to 4 lbs during 2 half days (Mar. 30 & 31, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing - March 28, 2004 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Ray Schmoltze, his son Ray and grandson Ray (N. Ft. Myers, FL - e-mail: mrmotz@netzero.com) caught and released about 30 bass up to 8 1/2 lbs during a half day morning of wild shiner fishing on March 28, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. Ray's son Ray caught and released the 8 1/2 lb'er. Ray also caught and released a 5 lb'er. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida bass fishing anglers Todd & Alec LaFlamme (Anchorage, AK - e-mail: tklaflamme@gci.net) and Bob & Janet LaFlamme (Gulfport, FL - e-mail: jbl609@aol.com) in 2 boats caught and released about 40 bass that included a 7 1/2 lb.trophy and a 5 1/4 lb'er during 2 half days (Mar. 22 & 23, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida bass fishing anglers Mark and Angela Persons (Rifle, CO - ph: 970-625-1216 - e-mail: thempersons@msn.com) caught and released about 25 bass that included a 12 lb.trophy and a 8 1/2 lb'er during 2 half days (Mar. 17 & 18, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Angela caught and released the 12 lb. and 8 1/2 lb'er. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida bass fishing anglers Joe Walsh (Ridgefield, CT - ph: 203-240-6781 - e-mail: joewalsh@vitalworks.com) and Steve Kahane (e-mail: stevekahane@vitalworks.com) caught and released about 10 bass that included a 11 lb.trophy and a 6 lb'er during a half day morning (Mar. 17, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Steve caught and released the 11 lb'er. Joe caught and released the 6 lb'er. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Shellcracker Fishing Report - March 16 & 17, 2004

Florida shellcracker fishing anglers Roger Boomgaard Marne, MI - ph: 616-677-3330 - e-mail: luckknot@aol.com) and Max Steel (Port Charlotte, FL - ph: 941-255-0860 - e-mail: mst321321@aol.com) caught 56 shellcrackers and 11 catfish during 2 half days (Mar, 16 & 17, 2004) of shellcracker fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the Harney Pond and Spoil Island areas of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida bass fishing angler Buzz Favreau (Naples, FL - e-mail: hrsmith@sympatico.ca) caught and released about 16 bass up to 3 lbs during 2 hald days (Mar. 16 & 17, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Fish were caught in the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing - March 11, 2004 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Andy Grimes (Carver, MA - e-mail: agrimes@adelphia.net) and 3 friends in 2 boats caught and released about 45 bass up to 3 lbs during 1 day (Mar. 11, 2004) of artificial lure fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing - March 8 & 9, 2004 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Jess Horsley and his dad Joel (Sioux City, IA - e-mail: crowinghorse@yahoo.com) caught and released about 15 bass up to 3 lbs during 2 half days (Mar. 8 & 9, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee. They also combined a day of wild boar hunting on March 10th with Ron's Guide Service. Jess used a hatchet to bag a large wild boar. His dad used a 45 caliber handgun to bag a trophy wild boar.

Florida bass fishing anglers Cody Keck (Cleveland, TN - ph: 423-505-9516 - e-mail: lesliekeck@aol.com) and his friend Dan caught and released about 25 bass that included a 10 lb., 7 lb. and 6 1/2 lb'er during 2 half days (Mar. 7 & 8, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Cody caught the 10 lb., 7 lb. and 6 1/2 lb'er. His friend Dan largest was 5 lbs. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
