I have put together some May 2004 Florida bass fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Florida bass fishing reports are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida bass fishing report. To ensure validity the angler's name, address, phone number and e-mail address is also listed with every fishing report.

Florida Bluegill & Mayan Cichlid Fishing - May 30 & 31, 2004
Fishing Report

Bluegill fishing anglers Tim Brown & his 2 sons (Sarasota, FL - ph: 941-322-2289 - e-mail: thtttbrown@aol.com) caught 89 bluegills & mayan cichlids on live crickets during 2 half days of panfishing with Ron's Guide Service on May 30 & 31, 2004. Bluegills & cichlids were caught in the Twin Pond Canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Bluegill fishing anglers John Mattox (Albany, GA - e-mail: Mrtrans912@aol.com) and 3 other fishermen in 2 boats caught a total of 275 bluegills & mayan cichlids on live crickets during 2 half days of panfishing with Ron's Guide Service on May 29 & 30, 2004. Bluegills & cichlids were caught in the Twin Pond Canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bluegill Fishing - May 29 & 30, 2004 Fishing Report

Bluegill fishing anglers Dave Yancey (Columbia, SC - ph: 803-771-7081 - e-mail: suthrnblueyes@sc.rr.com) and 2 other fishermen caught about 60 big bluegills on live crickets during 2 half days of bluegill fishing with Ron's Guide Service on May 29 & 30, 2004. Bluegills were caught in the Twin Pond Canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing - May 26, 27 & 28, 2004 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers John & Gary Carter (Clermont, FL - ph: 352-242-3884 - e-mail: ljcarterland@aol.com) caught and released 100 bass that included a 7 lb. & a 6 1/2 lb'er during 2 and 1 half days of wild shiner fishing on May 26, 27 & 28, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. Gary caught the 7 lb. and 6 1/2 lb'er. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
